Christmas Classics

There are several great classics
That I watch at Christmastime.
Each year, various networks
Are sure to make them prime.

In ‘A Christmas Carol,’
Mister Scrooge is a miser;
But when the movie ends,
He’s been made all the wiser.

‘A Charlie Brown Christmas’
Really touches me so.
And always there’s a message
George Schulz wants us to know.

For a lovely Christmas classic
To knock you off your feet:
‘It’s a Wonderful Life’
Indeed is hard to beat.

‘A Miracle on 34th Street’
Has also caught my eye
With its real-life issues
And grand morals to apply.

‘How Ernest Stole Christmas’
Finds my funny bone
As I chuckle, laugh and giggle.
Thank God he’s not a clone.

Ahh. I enjoy those classics
Every chance that I get.
And I’m sure you have a list
That is even better yet.

Author Notes
The ole classics help to make Christmas special and more enjoyable each year.
