Bluebells

Ne’er have I seen such beauty
Fields of bluebells ‘neath golden sun
Interspersed with tree-trunk pillars
Lovely forest, woodland spun.

Exquisite and breathtaking beauty
Unsullied by the hands of man
There for the heart’s enjoyment
Due to nature’s best-laid plan.

Splendid and arresting beauty
Awesome scene of sheer delight
The bold image of wild bluebells
Touched by rays of golden sunlight.
