Christmas Is Spiritual

By nature, Christmas is spiritual;
Not things and toys and trinkets.
Angels appeared.
Wise men worshipped.
Shepherds believed.

Christmas is all about faith.
Believing what we have heard—
But not seen.
That God was born in flesh
And lived among us.

Christmas is a message;
Christmas is joy.
Heaven’s joy
Now rings on earth.
Christmas is peace—
The peace of God,
Which becomes
The peace of men.
