Captivation

Amazingly Smitten.
What kind of sunset
Will He give us today?
Sapphire skies with
Silver-lined clouds.
Or fluffy white pillows
On boundless blue.
Or perhaps clear blue
As far as the eye could see.

Captivating since childhood
It thrills to see
How ever-changing images
Transform the skies.
When ‘running clouds’
Formed images
That were labeled:
An eye, hand, dog, shoe, etc.
So captivating are the living,
Breathing and ever-changing
Skies above.
