Don’t Give Up

When we were children
Adventurous too
The joy of kite flying
We loved to do.

‘Twas hard at times
Getting off the ground
As the kite climbed up
Then spiraled down.

But we’d keep trying
And before you’d know
It was soaring as high
As it could go.

So if your spirits
Are sunken low
And you have got
No ‘get up and go.’

Just keep trying
And before you know,
You’ll soar as high
As you can go.
