Don’t Wait too Late

Come time to go, one cannot stay
Not even for just one more day.
When lease is up and debt is due,
Can one then pay? Or shall he rue?

Some ties will break as fate rolls in
But naught can bring one back again.
Nor prevent the judgment seat
Where none can text, email or tweet.

There’ll be no skype, iphone, nor app.
No red carpet, hip-hop or rap.
So pay your dues, and do it now.
Don’t wait too late to kneel and bow.

Don’t wait too late
Don’t seal your fate.
