Christ in Me

By His Spirit Christ lives in me
He lives within my inner man.
But how He walks and talks in me,
I have yet to understand.
He peers out thru my eye windows
Upon a lost and dying world
And strolls in godly steps I make
To guide the paths I under take.
And then His gentle, agile hands
Stretch through my feeble hands
To comfort, work and fold in prayer.
And touch the masses of the land.
Taking the reins, He speaks thro’ me
With words that only He can give
Pure words of love and joy and peace
Such words as cause the heart to live.
