An Ode to Joy

Joy is of a spiritual nature
Showered 'pon us from the Lord above
A product of the holy Spirit
Adorned with peace and faith and love.

True joy's a priceless treasure within
By it, the heart rejoices and shines.
Its offering of delicate nectar
Is a product of spiritual wine.

Joy is a wholesome preservative
That keeps thro’ the saddest of times
Filling the heart and mouth with laughter
As happy souls ring out like chimes.
Joy's the jewels of heav'n sparkling bright--
The glim’ring rays of its perfect light.
