Evening Sunbeam

Although the sun was going down
And shadows donned the window sill,
Somehow it made its way inside--
But never stopped its dancing still.

Its altering form was unique
Each pattern intricately designed.
Its contour was one of a kind
So fashioned by the great divine.

It arrested my attention
And then it kept me mesmerized.
Bolstered my imagination
And all this while so small in size.

Jolly ole sunbeam saved the day
By spreading joy where’re it lay.
