A Home Far Away

Many have written of it:
The beauty.
The light.
The peace.

The heart. Oh, the heart can scarce
Contain its longing.
The mind which cannot fathom,
By faith, embraces.

A hope that beckons on.
Aspiration that makes life’s journey
Worth its weight in gold.

Home. A far-away home.
So far and yet so near.
Oh how the heart ever longs for
This endearing enchantment.
