Africa the Beautiful

Africa, the land of beauty,
There for the world to see:
Grassy knolls, sapphire skies.
Acacia, baobab… and teak tree.

Africa the land of ages...
The subject of song and rhyme.
This 'home of the pyramids"
Dates millenniums back in time.

Once donned the 'dark continent'
(As noted in its past clause),
Now Africa the land of strength
Is determined with a cause.
