He Will Lead Me

At the end of life on Jordan’s shore
Facing there the ever-swelling tide
The boisterous river rolls mightily
Yet stands the Savior by my side.

Safely He will see me o’er
Life’s flowing river deep and wide
For even from the days of yore
He’s always been my faithful guide.

Fear not my soul. Oh, fear thou not.
The Lord will take my feeble hand
And lead me from life’s perilous shore
Safely into the Promise Land.
