Everywhere Present

God is everywhere—
In the flowers and the trees.
I hear him in a bird’s song
And feel him in the breeze.

He’s in all of nature
With its vast display,
And in the heart of people
Passing by the way.

God is in the galaxies—
So infinite to our eyes.
He is in the mighty seas,
And he is in the skies.

He dwells in the light
And rules o’er the dark.
He watches o’er the eagle
And the tiny lark.

He’s in the sweetest note
On the grandest scale,
And in the faithful sunrise—
Such as never fails.

He is in the mountains
And rivers by the bay.
God is everywhere,
I see him every day.
