The Mystery of Tomorrow

Tomorrow veils the future,
What will its shadow bring?
The eye is blinded to its path
Of many hidden things.

Don't worry about tomorrow,
It cares not for thee.
Who can know what’s in store
For, either, you or me.

But yesterday is kinder
And faithful as could be,
Bearing all its soul,
With no shroud of mystery.

The future is unveiled
As the days slip away.
Just on yesterday,
Tomorrow was today.

Don’t worry about tomorrow,
Whatever will—shall be.
There’s only One to change
Its path and destiny.

Tomorrow unfolds with time,
We don’t know what shall be;
Each day is a veil
Beyond which we cannot see.
