Celestial Delight

No terror by night
Nor arrows by day,
The little children
Can safely play.

No Jack Frost
To nip the nose.
Nor cold winters
To freeze the toes,

But there shall be
Immortal things:
Eternal life.
Immortal spring.

Feasts and banquets.
Celestial delight.
No fading sunset,
Or mortal plight.

But grand reunions
With kith and kin.
And celestial bliss
That shall never end.
