The Value of Peace

Peace is sought after
More than anything known,
And yet, the least pursued:
Peace in marriages,
Homes, communities, schools,
Governments and nations.
If such precious commodity
Was manufactured like cars
And computers,
There would be no lack.

A child suffers,
If his parents have no peace.
People suffer,
If their leaders have no peace.
The world suffers,
If the nations have no peace.
The mind and body suffers
If the heart has no peace.

The foundation of all relations,
Even between body and soul,
Is harmony and unity - PEACE!
