Friends Are Essential

Friends are essential to life
There to share in sorrow and joy
Getting us through the toughest fights
Forgiving when we tend to annoy.
When hungry, a friend will feed you.
And will support your noble cause.
A friend will rebuke you when it’s due
They’ll never withhold due applause.
But to find a friend faithful and true
One must search diligently and forthright.
A wonderful choice never to rue.
If you have a true friend, hold them tight.
