So Much More

The howling winds blew
And to everyone, it was just the wind.
But to the poet,
It was a wind song.

T radiant sun peeped thro’ silver-lined clouds
to everyone else,
It was just clouds in the sky
But for the poet,
It sparked an ...inspirational sigh.

The musician hit three keys,
And to everyone, it was just noise
But to the poet,
Twas a perfect blend of harmony.

A host of stars filled the sky,
And to everyone else,
It was just a starlit sky,
But to the poet,
It was an awesome sight.

A woman was old and wrinkle
To others, she was just a wrinkled old woman
But to the poet,
There was beauty in its truest form.

A faded rose was to everyone else,
Just a flower that had died,
But to the poet,
It represented our lives.
