Circle of Light

The lamp is a light by which to see
It shines bright in the night
Scattering the dark about us
Ushering in the light.
Conscience is the light of man’s soul
Guiding as to right from wrong
But sadly some have no conscience
No knowledge to guide along.
But God is the light of this dark world
As dark grips the universe
And the light of God shines bright,
Setting darkness in reverse.
