Watching and Waiting

Another day of waiting. Waiting.
But maybe this will be the day
That our Lord will come in glory.
The Lord our God is on His way.

Each day, my soul’s watching. Watching.
Soon to leave this world of sorrow.
Oh, will the Savior come today?
Or perhaps, He’ll come tomorrow.

With the shout of the arch angel,
When will the heav’ly trumpet sound,
Heralding His instant return?
We see the signs, they’re all around.
