We build castles, and great they may be—
Proudly displayed for all to see.
But highly constructed and formed so grand,
We fail to realize they are of sand.

Dreams and ambitions of noble degree
Often crumble and vanish at sea.
Failed relations, goals not reached,
Abandoned visions, promises breached.

Foundations that are made of sand
Don’t guarantee a dream will stand.
But those dreams built on solid rock
Withstand troubles when they knock.
So, firmly anchored you should be
As not to drift and toss at sea.
