The Bull Street Library
The library on Bull Street
© 2009 Walterrean Salley
Is a pillar in our town.
It has served Savannah well
And the regions that surround.
Many have flocked there—
Both the young and the old,
Searching for true knowledge
Like one who mines gold.
It symbolizes morals,
Light, and education.
‘Tis a rock-solid brick
In Savannah’s core foundation.
The library’s an institution
For knowledge and higher learning,
And a symbol of the wisdom
That helps keep the torch burning.
