I Can Hear The Rain

I can hear the rain
As it’s pouring down.
First it comes heavily,
And then light in sound.

It kisses the rooftop
And all that’s around.
It rustles the trees,
Then falls to the ground

At times, it stops.
And then resumes;
Doing the rain dance,
I would assume.

Ummm. What a lovely
And soothing sound
To hear the rain
Come pouring down.
