The Bright Skies Paint a Mural

The sound of rustling leaves
Mid hissing silence.
Shadows bobbing on the wall.

Bright skies welcome soft,
Floral-like clouds.

Bright spot in peripheral darkness.
Huge full moon paints colorful
Mural of heavenly clouds
On infinite sky canvas.

This beautiful and fresh
Summery night belongs to winter.

I returned for a second glance,
But all was gone.
And yet ever fresh in the mind.
