The Most Important Thing

My faith is the most precious thing
I have.
A treasure from the Lord on high,
Who gave
My heart to know his precious love.
And saved
Me from the darkness of my sin.
I crave
A knowledge of him all the more
To brave
The less glamorous life that I
Now have.
