A Cupful of Glory

Along a wall grew a green vine,
Winding its way ‘cross space and time.
The vine sported several blooms—
Gloriously colorful and bright.

Purple lilies to morning glories,
How they graced the day;
Their presence was a delight.

In the morning they flourished,
But by evening—were closed tight.
