First-Time Event

Met my niece and nephew
For the first time.
Five-year-old twins,
Adorable they are.
They though my home weird,
But had themselves a ball.
Literally, they had…
The run of the house.
Loads of laughter.
A sack full of questions,
I tried to answer them all—
Even the childish ones. Hah!
Can’t wait till they visit again,
Tho’ rambunctious they be.
