Love Is Ever Ready

Ready for the challenges
That life will surely bring,
Love remains forever poised
To withstand the sting.

And to its sincere moorings,
Love's a gentle thing
That chimes with a faithfulness
That shall ever ring.

For its grace and purity
Love does humbly sing.
Beholden unto sacrifice,
But honors it will bring.
