If I Forget to Thank You

If I forget to thank you Lord
For your mercies - every one,
Please, forgive my soul's neglect
For such a wrong it would've done.

Lord, You've been only good to me.
And never was it my intent -
All those times I was ungrateful.
Within my heart, I do repent.

Oh, do not charge it to my soul.
Assure me of your mercies, Lord.
And, now, my heart joins with all else
To give You thanks with one accord.
