Polar-Bear Plungers

There is a weird trending
For those who play the game:
The brrr... 'Polar Bear' plunge,
From which it gets its name

I find it amazing
To see folks stand in line
As each awaits his turn.
Oh, take me to the "BRINE?"

It's unbelievable
When trying to conceive
The purpose that's behind
The polar bear retrieve.

Plunge to icy waters
At freezing temperatures -
In the dead of winter?
It won't be me, for sure.

I'd run the other way;
It's not that I don't care.
But Congratulations!
To those who'd even dare.

Note: Always amazes me how one can stand the freezing temps (ice and water). It takes great commitment, which, obviously, I don't have, but these folks sure do. Thumbs up for the "Polar-Bear Plungers!"
