Remembering Mom

Mom taught me to walk,
She taught me to talk.
And showed me pure love,
As her love I sought.

When I was fearful,
Her voice brought such calm:
She rocked and lulled me
In her loving arms.

When my world would reel,
She was my mainstay;
The most brightest hue
In my skies of gray.

Oh, how I loved her,
My sweet Mother dear,
And ever cherish
Her memories here.
