Ode to the Dandelion

Little dandelions
Oh how you make me smile
Laughing in 'fields of green'
Beneath the sun's great dial.

Everybody loves you
Because you're so much fun.
And we all know your name,
For you are next to none.

Artists paint your image,
Immortalize you there.
Poets set you to verse -
All gilded, and with a flair.

Kids love to play your games
Until the setting sun.
Forever you are loved
Because 'our hearts you've won.'
