Triumphant One

Thank you, oh God, for Easter morn -
That day you would give Christ your Son
To live and die for the whole world.
He paid the price, the work is done.

The Way is made - the door is opened.
All are welcomed who would come
And partake of His salvation.
The battle's fought - the victory's won.

But, oh, the sufferings of Christ!
To such an end was He born...
Sheer agony upon the cross.
Redeemer, Lord, triumphant One.
