If You're Going to Win

Everyday, we are reminded
That life is not an easy task.
Our uncanny 'will' to survive
Determines whether we'll last.

Accomplishments are easy
When the ball is in your court.
But when the odds are so great,
Well, that is another sport.

Through trials and tribulations,
We must learn to press our way -
If you are hoping to survive
And to fight another day.

And so, you must stand strong my friend,
Never - ever - giving in.
For you, too, must keep on fighting -
If there is a chance you`ll win.
