Beauty Is Everywhere

Sometimes it's in the skies above.
Or nestled 'neath leaves on the ground.
The eye must be trained to detect beauty
Because of distractions all around.

There is always beauty around us.
Betimes it's concealed so well.
It is like opening a crude oyster
And extracting a pearl from its shell.

Or it is like one fishing in a pond,
And draws out a beautiful catch,
Whether the waters are clear -
Or as murky as they can get.

Though beauty is anecdotal,
With power to cast a spell,
Some beauty is forever sealed,
Never to be beheld.
