Friends Like Mine

Everyone should have friends like mine
And perhaps you do.
And if you are so fortunate
Or so lucky to...

You have much to be grateful for
Because friends make life worthwhile.
They're there when'er you need them,
And it only takes a dial.

They brighten up the day
Turning skies to blue - from gray.
There is nothing like a friend
To help you 'long the way.

Especially through life's tough spots,
And places with less tread;
To have someone there with you,
Makes it less of a dread.
