Where There's Life There Is God

God is in the sun
At the dawning of daylight.
God is in the stars,
And the moon at night.

God is in the flowers,
And the precious little dove.
And He is in the rainbow—
That dazzles above.

God is in the elephant
And the tiny ant.
He is in the hyacinth
And every living plant.

God is in the trees
And the fishes of the sea.
And He is in the heart
Of you and me.

Whether man, or beast,
Or fowl, or cod—
Wherever there's life,
There is God.
