There’s nothing like peace
In the heart and soul.
It’s better than silver
And better than gold.

Peace that keeps
The spirit calm—
Even when in life’s
Treacherous storm.

Peace so gentle,
Like a dove
Winnowing down
From God above.

Peace that soars
To heavenly heights.
Peace that gets you
Through the night.

A lasting peace.
A wholesome peace
That brings true joy
And sweet release.

There’s nothing like
The peace of Christ—
Secured at such
An awesome price.
