Why Jesus Died

Jesus died
To save from sin—
And to give
True peace within.

He died
To lighten up the way.
And thus to give
New hope each day.

He died that men,
Made of mere sod,
Could know the love
And power of God.

He died that sin
Could be forgiven,
And that all
May go to heaven.
