Psalm-95

(Reflecting upon my first encounter with the Lord. After desperately seeking to know Him, I found God on the pages of His Word.)

I thought to find him there
in nature--the singing brooks.
The sparrow’s song.
The murmuring sea.
And even the brilliant Mr. sun,
But it wasn’t to be.

Instead, I heard a faint-soft voice
Speaking to me from the pages
Of his awesome and abiding word.
‘Twas then I realized
That I had found him.
