For if you love yourself,
Then you can love me.

Feel my joy and pain—
Laughing in the sunshine
And crying in the rain.

Consider all my needs,
Include me in your plans.
And let us walk together
As one, with hand in hand.

May I to you be special
As you are to me.

Love me with respect,
And with dignity
Then I, your other half,
Will love you back. You’ll see.

And then we as one—
While aiming for the stars,
Perhaps can reach the sun.
