Love and Light

Oh such love I cannot know
In its depth, and breadth, and height
A love that drew me from sin’s dark
Into a pure and perfect light.

A love that knew me all along
Although my soul was black as sin.
The door of truth was closed to me
I never thought to enter in.

But then the veil was lifted
The evasive truth was disclosed
I hastened to that very door
And entered therein unopposed
And now I’m singing a new song
To Him forever I belong.
