Hope in the Time of Loss

Pain is the cost of loss.
It is one of the many
Sacrifices that we must pay
For the privilege of life.
"It is appointed to man once
To die."
We live, and we die.
We sleep, and we rise
To the love, joy and peace
Of eternal life.
And therein lies our hope.
