My Favorite Fairytale

There in the land of my childhood
(Imaginary hills and dale),
Twas Snow White and the seven dwarfs.
It was my best-loved fairy tale.

Jolting the imagination,
Grimhilde and her evil look.
The story always came alive,
Transformed while reading a kid's book.

A story so adventurous,
It made for a great mental feast:
The many sights, sounds and colors
Were fascinating at the least.

Bashful, Dopey, Sleepy, Sneezy!
Twas Doc, and Grumpy. Happy too.
And 'Snow White' and 'Prince Florian!'
Countless still love it, as I do.
