What a Friend

What a friend you are to me,
Solid and most sure.
The kind that I'd love to be;
The kind I adore.
One who's there thro' all of life -
Both the good and bad.
The pretty and the ugly
The happy and sad.
So I hold this thought for you:
Dear Lord, bless my friend
Go with them thro' all of life
Even to the end.
