Thank You for Life

Thank you for life and letting me live.
I give to you all that I have to give.
My love and time, and talents, you see—
Even the life You’ve given to me.

I’ve learned that there is no sure thing.
No telling what the moments will bring.
And except for you, where would I be?
No telling what would’ve happened to me.

My life’s a testimony[to your power,
Sustaining me every second and hour.
So, redeeming the time for the good that I can
Is my thanks for life in this land.

I have been changed in so many ways,
For you have graciously lengthened my days.
