Thankful for Good Friends

Friends are a secret weapon
That will get you through the times
Of Loneliness and sickness
Or discouragement, and bind.

Often they're not seen, or known.
Oft, their voices are not heard.
For they are "unassuming,"
If you'd put it in a word.

But, Winter, Spring, Summer, Full,
They're only a call away.
They deserve celebration -
If it's only for a day.
